DOJO'S "DUALITY" HIT'S STORES IN DENVER

So now that "Duality" has made it's journey around the Internet from Beatport ( www.beatport.com ) to clips for our film maker friend Chucky F ( www.momentumvm.com ) as well as playing right now on your speakers as you read this blog on Myspace we pause for a moment to remember a small slice of history in the form of an actual CD!!! Yes, that's right.....you can get Dojo's - "Duality" on a shiny little disk that will play in a car stereo or in the automatic cupholder on your computer that pops out whenever you hit eject.
.....and it comes with "artwork" and a track listing as well as some thank you's to anyone that has never pissed us off.
It's a pretty amazing concept really.

We are in negotiations with Independent as there paperwork is "mighty" and might try again with Bart's but they kinda lost our last consignments when Bart sold the joint which was a bit of a drag...but the vinyl section still rocks balls.

That's right ninja's, after two years, many line-up changes, job changes, dog rescues, DJ gigs, studio break-in's, much travel and meeting 20,000+ new friends on Myspace the underground production duo of Analog Suspect and Selecta Roswell along with rogue MC The Verse have finally stepped out of the studio for a bottle of warm Sake and are prepared to present to you the 3rd saga in the trilogy of Dojo releases that began with a lesson in "Subliminal Teachings " and then continued into the beat science with "Everything Flows" and now the two become one in……….
DOJO ~ "DUALITY"

14 chapters of intercontinental hip-hop and downtempo that shake up the Krylon can of existence and spray a visual & aural picture of the state of the world today. From the ghetto's of France to the jungles of India to the back streets of Japan and in the shadow of the Rocky Mountains this duo takes the sounds, sights & stories of the world and crafts them into a sound for now.
Along the way they built a bridge across the Atlantic to a few choice beat makers in France who's sound is as smooth as LL Cool J's lips, check out the Brooklyn boom of Le Parasites production on Make A Move or the mystic tension of Gasoline's "Fire With Fire" (Make sure to peep Dojo's Myspace for the exclusive video). Also enlisted was Europe's DJ Trauma to add his eastern spice to the "Actions Speak Louder" cut and give it some dank jungle crunk.

But true to form, team Dojo also delivers like a Cobra Kai sweeping kick and turns in some of the sickest new beats and rhymes this side of the Great Wall.

Let Selecta Roswell take your ears on a trip through Bombay with the dirty south meets dirty jungle of Vindaloo Boom or the lesson of respect and bass in Kali's Revenge. Close your eyes and let the Analog Suspect construct a vision of enlightenment with a "Crunk Monk" by her side and color outside the lines of hip-hop on the futuristic thump of "We Just Wanna Make Music". But when you open them and catch a glimpse of a form moving towards the vocal booth out of the corner of your eye then you know The Verse aka tha mongoose has stopped by to drop a Timbo sized 13 batch of knowledge on solid cuts like "Frameof Mind and the ecofriendly "4 Elements" alongside the Suspect as well as killing it on the Colorado anthem "Network Connection" alongside MC's from the Springs and most of the Dirty Laboratory gang.

All this and a couple of cinematic instrumental excursions that are begging to be put in an Indy film complete this saga that now opens the gates of the Dojo so that both sides of the duo may explore their solo missions and complete the duality of their training…..

…………….but that is another story……….

THE DOJO and GASOLINE from France team up with director Ernie Agustin to present the new video for
" FIRE WITH FIRE"
Filmed on the streets of Denver on the coldest weekend we had last winter (yes, that is Analog Suspect rapping in -13 degree weather) we were proud to complete this intercontinental collaboration with Gasoline on La Fondation records that started with a e-mail and now after a year has spawned the seeds of 3 DOJO tracks on the Gasoline album, production from Gasoline on the upcoming Dojo-"Duality" album and solo album by Analog Suspect and this video tribute to not only France & Colorado collaborations but to our fine freezing city.
After taking bids from Hype Williams (he wanted to use too many elephants and a shoot-out with Busta Rhymes) and Spike Jonez (who thought rolling around in a cop car and various costume changes would be the ticket) we settled on our friend Ernie Agustin (aka Jr.G-Lucas) of Annex of Soul who we think captured the street essence of Denver in a very dope manner.

On a track titled "Make A Move" featuring the Analog Suspect that is sure to blow up on both sides of the world
