The Verse likes to phrase himself as, "a small town kid, with big time dreams." While his family is both from Nashville, TN and Bridgeport, CT he grew up mostly in the mountains of Colorado. While attending the University of Colorado at Boulder, The Verse helped create the rap group The Exodusters, under the name Brother "Q"D with Brother Mali and D-Moist-One. After college The Verse joined up with Shane, The Technician, to form the hip-hop group Reverb & The Verse. The duo created two albums, "Retake The Art" and "Ravenous". While looking to do work in the Denver area The Verse met the Undefiable MC and the rest of the Dojo collective. Thanks to some prodding by Analog Suspect, The Verse dropped his first Dojo collaboration on a remix track of Angels and went on to release his debut solo EP "Domino Theory"...the rest is history.
